Grief is a deeply personal journey, but it doesn't have to be walked alone.
Whether you're a friend, family member, colleague, or caregiver, your support plays a crucial role in someone's healing process. This webinar aims to equip you with the understanding and skills necessary to offer meaningful support while taking care of yourself.
In spite of the fact that grief is a normal part of the cycle of life, it is something we prefer not to look at or think about.
Then we wonder why we are so ill-equipped to deal with loss and the aftermath when it happens to those around us.
We become uncomfortable and awkward and often end up avoiding the person altogether because we just don't know what to do, say or how to behave.
WHAT WE WILL COVER IN THE WEBINAR:
🌹 Gain insights into the emotional, physical, and psychological aspects of grief to better
comprehend what your loved one/friend/colleague is experiencing.
🌹 Learn how to communicate empathetically and supportively, creating a safe space for
the expression of emotions without judgment.
🌹 Discover practical ways to offer support, from simple gestures of kindness to more
substantial assistance, tailored to the individual's needs.
🌹 Understand the importance of self-care in the support journey and explore strategies to
maintain your own well-being while being there for others.
🌹Q&A Session: Have your questions answered.

ABOUT DI:
After the death of my husband and soulmate of 38 years in 2019 and my mother in 2022 I completed certification with Sacred Dying SA to become a "death doula" and grief guide. I run Journey of Loss Retreats, Grief Immersion workshops and sound journeys, for groups or individual sessions. As a Reiki Master and energy healer with over 22 years’ experience, I have combined my gifts into a powerful offering, one where I hold a non-judgemental safe space to process grief, make sense of loss and reach a place of acceptance, as well as supporting the physical body, which holds all the emotion and trauma that has been experienced.
Grief can feel isolating, but with understanding, empathy, and support, we can navigate it together 💜
